The Optimus 2X is also in the list to feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, however the T-Mobile G2X is unfortunately missing. It isn’t sure that why this smartphone won’t be getting an upgrade as G2X is fundamentally similar to Optimus 2X, just with quite a few software customization. The first set of upgrades will be introduced in the second quarter of 2012, while the second set will be sometime between April and June. LG Corporation rounds out the 4th biggest manufacturing company for outlining Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade timeline following Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Samsung. Well, you are going to have to wait for custom ROM.
