According to a Nokia official, as the company introduced the Windows phone, the company will be out of the Symbian business and the S40 business etc. Then it only will be about the accessories and the Windows Phone around that. The reality  in this case is that if the company didn’t succeed with Windows Phone, whatever the company does will not matter.

The Nokia officials also said that Nokia will be selling the handsets exclusively through carriers, which is kind of a strange statement from the company which generally sells unsubsidized, unlocked handsets overseas and has tried to do the same even in US.

The very first Windows Phone handset, codenamed Sea Ray is scheduled to enter the market this fall. The company also introduced a brand new Symbian device, the Nokia 500 which reflected a fresh naming system of the company.
