Nokia Lumia 900 Introduced by Nokia and AT&T

Nokia took a stage at CES and announced its first 4G LTE smartphone called Nokia Lumia 900, featuring ClearBlack 4.3 inch AMOLED touchscreen display. Acer Iconia Tab A700 with Ice Cream Sandwich Slated For Launch at CES 2012

A report from NoMobile states that Acer will be introducing Ice Cream Sandwich goodness in the form of new tablet. Be on the look out of Acer Iconia Tab A700, which will serve as big brother to A200. The Iconia Tab A700 will feature a 10.1 inch screen that boasts 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, Nvidia Tegra 3 Chip and quad-core processor with potential to clock at up to 1.3GHz each. Its 9800mAh battery will last for 10 hours of video playback. It weighs 650 grams and measures 9.8mm thick.

The Acer Iconia Tab A200 was revealed in United Kingdom this week for the price of £299; therefore you can expect the Acer Iconia Tab A700 for $500. The A200 is little thicker and has less impressive specifications as compared to A700. It gets Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and similar 10.1 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It doesn’t come with Ice Cream Sandwich, but the company has an upgrade planned for 2012.

LG talks Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade schedule – Coming in Q2 and Q3

Leisurely, manufacturing companies have started to announce Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade details for their smartphone portfolios and now it is LG’s turn. These upgrades will be introduced some time in 2nd and 3rd quarter next year with quite a few notable smartphones missing from Android 4.0 lineup. LG Corporation announced the following today: during Q2 of 2012, updates will start for the following smartphones such as Prada phone by LG 3.0, LG Optimus LTE, LG Optimus 2X, LG Optimus Sol, LG my Touch Q and LG Eclipse. These updates will be followed by updates from following smartphones during Q3 of 2012; LG Optimus 3D, LG Optimus Black, LG Optimus Big, LG Optimus Q2 and LG Optimus EX. Samsung Releases Their First Windows Mango Phone

Samsung finally officially launched their Samsung Omnia W, which is the company’s first smartphone running Windows’ Mango OS. Samsung plans to release the Smartphone in Italy later this month and after that it will be launching it all through Europe, Southeast and SouthWest Asia and Latin America. We didn’t have any information on when the handset will be entering the US markets. Samsung Galaxy S II Finally Enters US Markets
