Wireless phones review – LG Apex (U.S. Cellular)
Compared to the other wireless phones having slider QWERTY interface like Samsung Epic 4G and T-Mobile G2, the Apex is quite compact. It is 0.62 inch thick, 2.22 inches wide, 4.57 inches high and the weight is about 5.4 ounces. This handset is not as wide as other wireless phones and hence it feels more comfortable to hold in the hand. Also, the LG Apex is far from a thin phone but I could still easily put it in my pants pocket without any problems. The cell phone is well constructed and on the back, there is a soft touch nice finish. The trade-off on the trim design of such wireless phones is the small display. LG Apex US Cellular has just a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen as compared to the 4 inch and 3.7 inch screens of Epic 4G and G2 respectively.
