HTC Vivid is a 4G LTE, powerful Android smartphone that provides nice, gorgeous, high resolution large touchscreen display, excellent camera, robust contact management and great specifications all around. It is an excellent Android device with beautiful screen and fast 4G LTE data on brand new network of AT&T. If you can overlook cheap plastic design, the Vivid provides all-around impressive user experience at palatable price. It is the first 4G LTE smartphone of the company for AT&T and is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with HTC Sense 3.0 interface. The Vivid also features 4.5 inch qHD touchscreen display that boasts 540 x 960 pixel resolution, 1.2GHz dual core processor, eight-megapixel camera, front facing camera, 16GB of internal storage space and 1080 high definition video support.

The HTC Vivid is available for the price of $199.99, but the company seems to have sacrificed its build quality and trademark craftsmanship, while designing Vivid that looks and feels notably plasticky and cheap rather than polished aluminium device. With curved corners and high gloss black plastic body, the Vivid resembles a Samsung device more than usual meticulously crafted designs of HTC, which is a bit letdown for smartphones with high calibre capabilities. It is a jumbo phone that measures 5 inches high, 0.4 inch thick and 2.6 inches wide. The Vivid also carries the company’s characteristic metal accents, weighing 6.2 ounces. The combination of phone’s angles and slippery plastic also makes it slightly difficult to pick up flat surfaces as compared to other handsets.

Powering the Vivid is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system that runs on excellent Sense 3.0 user interface of HTC, adding rich graphics, functionality and extra features. Above the display, you will find a 1.3 megapixel camera for conference calling and self portraits with indicator light. Underneath, there are four touch sensitive navigation buttons. The micro USB charging port is located on the left hand side of the device, while the volume rocker button on the right. The power button and 3.5mm headphone jack is on the top of the smartphone, while eight-megapixel camera with dual LED flash at the back.

Like all smartphones, the HTC Vivid features built in Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and communication standards such as text and multimedia messaging and multiple inbox support. Social networking syncing, contact importing and works are here with usual services of Google, including YouTube, Gmail, turn by turn navigation and Maps. AT&T and HTC have loaded Vivid with plenty of applications; these include HTC Hub, Footprints location app, Friendstream and Watch for entertainment. AT&T offers branded applications such as AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T Navigator and AT&T Family Map; you will also find usual voicemail, Live TV and Movies.

The HTC Vivid comes preloaded with Qik Lite for video chats, Amazon Kindle, Yellow Pages Mobile, FM Radio, Polaris Office, MOG Music and NFS Shift game demo. There is also voice search, calendar, calculator and clock too. The eight-megapixel offers blurry images with tiny sensors, which never let in enough, light; but boasts f2.2 lens for superior low light performance. The images captured in both outdoor and indoor settings with variety of light were colorful and crisp with high color fidelity. It offers settings such as widescreen resolution, auto enhancing and autofocus. You can apply one of sixteen effects before shooting, including panorama and HDR modes. Rotating images, adding effects and cropping are all options.

Standard features on HTC Vivid include 2G Network: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900; 3G Network: HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100; LTE 700 / 1700; 4.5 inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen with 262,000 colors, 540 x 960 pixel resolution, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, HTC Sense UI and Touch sensitive controls; Vibration, MP3, WAV ringtones; Practically unlimited entries and fields, Photocall; 16GB/32GB storage, 1 GB RAM; microSD, up to 32GB; HSDPA, HSUPA, LTE; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot; 8-megapixel camera with 3264×2448 pixels, dual-LED flash, autofocus, face detection, Geo-tagging and video: 1080p at 60 frames per second.

The HTC Vivid is also equipped with Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread); 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Qualcomm APQ8060 Snapdragon chipset, MDM9200; SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email; Stereo FM radio with RDS; GPS with A-GPS support; Digital compass; SNS integration; Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa integration; MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player; MP3/AAC+/WAV/WMA player; Document viewer; Organizer; Voice memo/dial/commands; Predictive text input; Phonebook: Multiple numbers per contact, Caller groups, Picture ID, Search by both first and last name and Ring ID; Organizer: Calendar, Alarm, Calculator, World clock; Notifications: Music ringtones (MP3), Haptic feedback, Vibration, Polyphonic ringtones, Silent mode and Flight mode.

The HTC Vivid features Voice dialing, Voice commands, TTY/TDD; Text Messaging: Insert pictures, video clips and sound clips easily; Mobile Email: Gmail(TM), Yahoo, POP3/IMAP4 and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync; Microsoft Direct Push; Good(TM) Mobile Messaging; Cool Tools: Street View, Android(TM) Market, Google Maps(TM), Voice Search, Search, Sync, Block Caller, YouTube(TM), Flash Light, Facebook for HTC Sense, HTC Hub, FriendStream, Twitter for HTC Sense, HTC Likes and Amazon Kindle; ThemesWallpaper, background, custom menus/popups, icons and more and Preloaded Apps from AT&T: AT&T Navigator, myAT&T, AT&T FamilyMap, YPmobile, AT&T U-Verse Live TV.
HTC Evo Design 4G is an affordably priced handset that provides understated black on black design, two cameras, 8GB of preinstalled memory, Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is a word phone. This particular Android smartphone looks like slightly bigger version of HTC Rhyme, but adds 4G speeds and global connectivity for reasonable $99 with mail in rebate and two-year contract. The Evo Design 4G gives you a lot of smartphone for excellent value, including fast 4G speeds, sophisticated design, good camera and strong processor. It is a wonderful choice for Sprint customers, who especially want a smartphone with dual core processor.

The HTC Evo Design 4G is the 5th smartphone to join the Sprint lineup and is more budget friendly, slightly smaller version of most recent Evo 3D and classic Evo 4G, complete with usual Sprint WiMax 4G speeds of the family. It also has a distinction of being the first globe-trotting Evo with GSM friendly SIM card slot underneath the battery cover. The all new Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset comes with 1.2GHz processor, 8GB microSD card, 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. It is available for the price of $99.99 with two-year agreement and $50 mail in rebate.

The HTC Evo Design 4G has a boxy shape with wide metallic band across the back and square edges. There is also a soft touch material below and above the band for creating black on black tuxedoed look. It is more stylish and sharp as compared to Evo 3D. It measures 4.8 inches high, 0.47 inch thick, 2.4 inches wide and weighs 5.2 ounces. The size is manageable and feels comfortable in hand. The Evo Design 4G sports 4-inch display instead of 4.3-inch screen found on Evo 3D, but boasts 960 x 540 pixel touchscreen resolution, 16 million colors and colorful, bright and sharp images.

The HTC Evo Design 4G’s HTC Sense user interface is beautiful as well as smart and offers easy access in drop down notification bar to system settings and recent applications. You can pinch in for viewing the home screens, sort applications in application tray by downloaded, frequent and all apps and easily and quickly customize the profiles and sounds. Under the screen, you will find four touch sensitive buttons for search, home, back and menu functions. The physical camera button is located on the right hand side of the device, while the 1.3 megapixel camera above the display. The micro USB charging port and volume rocker button is on the left hand side of smartphone, while the power button and 3.5mm headphone jack on the top. The five-megapixel camera with LED flash is back.

One of the most interesting hardware embellishments of the HTC Evo Design 4G is underneath the battery cover, which is very difficult to wrench off. There is a structural element, which keeps the battery in place. Flip it open and you will find a SIM slot where you can slide in GSM SIM card if you take the device abroad. The microSD memory card slot is beneath battery cover and comes with 8GB preinstalled memory. The Evo Design 4G allows you to access Google accounts and also hooks in Facebook contacts if you would like. Like all smartphones, it offers texting, GPS, multimedia messaging, Wi-Fi, email and Bluetooth. The HTC Sense allows you to view the messages and contacts list directly from lock screen.

On HTC Evo Design 4G, you will find quite a few typical Google applications such as YouTube, Gmail, Places, Maps, Navigation and more. The company has also added its own applications, including Friend Stream, Footprints and Peep. It lets you download HTC-designed applications such as HTC Watch, a video viewing environment and Flashlight. There is HTC Hub, HTC Mobile Guide, transfer application for contacts, HTC Likes and Connected Media. Sprint has loaded up its own applications like NASCAR, Sprint Hotspot, FM Radio, Sprint Zone, Amazon MP3, Sprint Radio and TeleNav GPS Navigator.

The HTC Evo Design 4G’s 5-megapixel camera offers settings for white balance and its software supports wide angle viewing, grid, autofocus and face detection. The photo quality is good and colors tend to be rich. The 720p high definition video is good and helps keep the device competitive. It has 768Mg internal memory and can hold up to 32GB of external storage. Standard features on Evo Design 4G include CDMA: 800, 1900 MHz; GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz; Candybar design; 4.00 inch screen with 540 x 960 pixels, Light sensor, Proximity sensor and 16 777 216 colors.

Unlike Apple’s iPhone 5 we now have the confirmed release date for HTC Rhyme, and if the reports are to be believed, the Rhyme will be entering the market SIM-Free on 7th of October, 2011. The network operators soon will be unveiling the deals for the handset.

The HTC Rhyme has been a highly controversial phone aimed at ‘female buyers’ in the market, and was officially launched earlier this week. One of the online store claims the original price of the handset to be £389.95 SIM-free, and that the handset will enter the sales on October 7th, 2011.

The biggest problem that many of the buyers will have with HTC Rhyme is its “charm cable” which lightens up when you make a call or you receive or send a message. Now, keeping this accessory aside, the phone actually is rather impressive having the all new Android Gingerbread, a 5 MP camera and HD Ready video smarts.

A lot of online websites have started taking pre-orders for HTC Rhyme, and if you are thinking about buying the handset, then this surely is the right chance for you.

HTC is not known for making any serious music Smartphones, but with their HTC Runnymede the company has tried something different. The HTC Runnymede is HTC’s first Smartphone manufactured in company with Beats Electronics, which is known for their top-quality audio equipment. The Beats Electronics is owned and run by American rapper Dr. Dre.

The all new HTC Runnymede basically is a Smartphone targeted towards music fans, and will be offered with the headset Beats by Dr. Dre, and will be priced at around $119.

Apart from being developed in association with Beats Electronics, the other highlights for the HTC Runnymede include the likes of 768 MB RAM and a 1.5 GHz processor. But the actual highlight for the HTC Runnymede is its spacious 4.7 in capacitive screen which is capable of displaying images with native resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The Operating System here is an Android Gingerbread 2.3.4.

The HTC Runnymede comes with an 8 Megapixel resolution camera having a dual-LED flash, autofocus and video capture. The video capture capability of the camera here allows you to capture video at 720p High Definition resolution. The HTC Runnymede also has front facing camera having 1.3 Megapixel of native resolution, and offers support for video calls.

The HTC Runnymede makes use of a system having two microphones for optimal quality of calls and the Beats Electronics speaker delivers impressive sound for music loves.

The all new HTC Runnymede will be available in two versions having internal memory of 16 GB and 32 GB respectively. The 16 GB Runnymede will cost you $838, while the 32 GB version will cost you something around $885.

Seeing all the features and offerings from the HTC Runnymede would recommend the handset for the hardcore music fanatics, and if you are one of them then you must consider the new Smartphone from HTC.

The main players in the battle of supremacy in the mobile OS world are the iOS from Apple, used mainly in iPhones and Google’s Android, which is used by plenty of other manufacturers. But there is another decent competitor in the form of Windows Phone 7 OS, which is used by a lot of manufacturers.

HTC primarily is known for its Android handset, but the company also manufactures some devices running on Microsoft’s all new Windows Phone 7 operating system.

The earlier handsets from the company were impressive with the large screen and sleek designs of the phones, and the all new HTC 7 Trophy handset is also rather impressive.

The HTC 7 Trophy is a nice looking Smartphone and comes with a vigorous and clear 3.8 in display screen. Both videos and images appeared pretty clear, thanks to Microsoft\’s relatively precise least requirements for Windows 7 phones. The handset also is quick and manages to match up with most of the demanding tasks.

However, the handset looked great and was rather easy to use, certain options of the handset were too concealed , and it was difficult to alter the settings. It should also be known that the handset cannot hide wireless networks, regarding which Microsoft says that the hidden networks are comparatively less safe but for the users who have to use them it’s a huge omission.

Apart from this, the HTC 7 Trophy’s Windows Phone 7 is a decent mobile OS. The icons on the home screen are regularly updated by using new pictures, appointments, emails and social-network updates, this makes it easy to monitor what’s happening around. The HTC Hub is also a superb addition to the interface along with apps for checking the weather, watching videos on YouTube and playing online games.

The Windows Phone 7 makes use of software called Zune for connecting to the computer and we have to say that it is not all that good. On a personal node we found it a tad annoying and awkward to navigate, it has been jazzed up by Microsoft, but while doing that, substantial for style has been sacrificed.

The HTC 7 Trophy has a 5 megapixel camera, and is capable of capturing crisp images having definite colors, and the auto-focus lens here was pretty fast, even when clicking the photos of objects that are situated close-by. The flash of the camera was a tad poor. The handset also has an 8GB of memory storage, is capable of connecting to Bluetooth devices, and comes with a GPS receiver offering you navigation using the pre-installed Bing Maps application.

Finally we would say that the HTC 7 Trophy is a potent handset having outstanding camera and a huge screen, and is one of the finest Smartphones we’ve seen in recent times.

The think tank of HTC surely is not doing a lot these days, and that’s the reason why most of the handset coming out gives a sense of reminder of some handsets that you might have seen earlier. On fine example of this is the all new HTC Inspire.

Just as its precursors HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4G, the Inspire also is a heavy smartphone have slate-styling. The handset has a huge 4.3 in WVGA touchscreen having native resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and underneath the huge display screen of the handset there is a set of capacitive navigation keys. Positioned on the upper end of the phone is the conventional projecting camera lens. Apart from this the rest of the body including the brushed aluminum body and recessed power and volume buttons have the very same pragmatic drab design.

We were a bit disheartened with the overall design of the handset and will have to say that there actually is very less to like about the overall design of the handset. The battery door here is finicky and the headphone jack is also oddly placed. But if you can keep the looks of the handset aside, let us tell you that the HTC Inspire is rather easy to use and even with its outstandingly huge screen the phone is pretty comfortable in hand. Just as most of the slate phones, the overall design and looks of the HTC Inspire takes a back seat in front of its big screen, which is used for all the e-mailing, web browsing, video watching and texting.

Even under the hood the HTC Inspire pretty much has the same stuff that you expect from the modern Android devices, the HTC Inspire comes with a sharp 8 MP camera, 4 GB of onboard memory (having an 8 GB card built-in), a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, and a little Dolby sound.

The main thing that differentiates this phone from others is its software and we have to say that HTC has largely modernized their Sense User Interface for the handset. The operation of the handset is rather fast and evens the system boots pretty quickly. The pinch-to-zoom feature of the handset is rather fast and the scrolling the web pages is rather smooth.

Finally we would say that despite some minor shortcomings here and there, the HTC Inspire is a considerable, and feature loaded sub-$100 smartphone. So, if you are looking for such a smartphone, then this certainly is a superb alternative for you.

We won’t be exaggerating and say that the HTC ThunderBolt is one of the finest pieces of handset available in market, but at the same time we won’t be unfaithful with the ThunderBolt by not praising it for being the best 4G device at present available in HTC’s lineup. It should also be known that the ThunderBolt is the first handset that will be running on LTE network of Verizon.

The HTC ThunderBolt has an 8 megapixel camera flushed with the rear surface of the device, unlike HTC Evo, that had its camera a tad raised from its surface. The camera is a perfect gesture of form and function, which largely enhances the feel of the handset and at the same time, prevents the lens from getting scratched. The HTC ThunderBolt also flaunts a front-facing camera which is used for any sort of video chat. The dual-LED flash of the camera was impressive and performed exceedingly well even in pitch dark. The color saturation and 720p video quality of the camera was pretty impressive as well.

The HTC ThunderBolt has a swept metal kickstand, which is nicely built and at the same time is rather practical as well. Using the kickstand of the handset, we were able to use the ThunderBolt just as a monitor for streaming e-mail or RSS while doing our work. The 4.3 inch vigorous WVGA TFT touchscreen of the handset was also superb and resulted in decent video playback.

Not only the looks, but the specs of the HTC ThunderBolt were rather impressive as well, and we were able to get decent performance from the ThunderBolt. The ThunderBolt has a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, which is immensely fast, and in addition to this the handset comes loaded with Android 2.2 and with 2.0 variant of HTC’s very own Sense user interface on top.

It should be known that HTC ThunderBolt runs on the 4G LTE Network of Verizon, which as for now was only used for data cards for laptops or dongles, it simply means that the HTC ThunderBolt is immensely fast; while web-browsing we experienced minimal to no clipping, and we were able to load pages in minimum time.

The HTC ThunderBolt performed exceedingly well in our performance test, and not only the handset was fast, but at the same time delivered respectable sound and voice quality as well.

Finally, we would like to say that the with sufficient 8 GB of on-board memory, in addition to a whooping 32 GB of microSD included the HTC ThunderBolt definitely is one of the finest Android phone in market and measuring 0.56 in, the slim profile of the handset makes it an eye candy for many customers loves looks most. In addition to all that, the HTC ThunderBolt comes with a 3.5 mm standard-sized headphone jack and there also is a 2750 mAh battery advance available. The handset also comes with plenty of pre-installed apps.

HTC Sensation 4G is an Android based touchscreen smartphone, which provides high quality sleek design, 8-megapixel camera, gorgeous 4.3 inch qHD screen and 1.2GHz dual core processor. Its excellent user experience and design with its solid performance, makes the Sensation 4G one of the top pick for T-Mobile customers and one of the best smartphones in the market. T-Mobile and HTC Corporation originally launched the Sensation 4G in the month of April with 4.3 inch screen and 1.2GHz processor. It is available for the price of $199.99 with $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. The Sensation 4G is one of the most well designed and best looking smartphones with sleek and solid design, aluminium unibody chassis and high quality streamlined construction.

Unlike other 4.3-inch touchscreen smartphones such as Samsung Droid Charge and HTC Thunderbolt, the HTC Sensation 4G doesn’t feel bulky or heavy. It measures 0.4 inch thick, 5 inches tall, 2.6 inches wide and weighs 5.2 ounces. The Sensation has tapered edges and offers a more premium feel, making it comfortable in the hand. One of the extensive features found in this model is the qHD Super LCD touchscreen, which features a concave shape and contour design, boasting 540 x 960 pixel resolution. The images and text appear sharp with vivid colors, while the Retina Display of the iPhone offers better color saturation and finer detail.

The HTC Sensation 4G’s touchscreen is quite capacitive and responsive, as you can easily navigate through launch and menu applications with just one tap. Beneath the screen, there are four touch sensitive buttons, which include search, home, back and menu functions. On the left hand side of the device, you will a micro USB port and volume rocker button, while on the right side, there is devoid of controls. The power button and 3.5mm headphone jack is on the top, while the front facing camera is just below it, on the upper right of the screen. You will the dual LED flash and 8-megapixel camera on the back of the smartphone. The Sensation 4G comes with reference material, AC adapter, preinstalled 8GB microSD card, USB cable and wired stereo headset.

Apart from time, date and other vital statistics of HTC Sensation 4G, it also offers shortcuts to some of your favorite applications. The shortcuts are set to messages, phone, camera and mail; however, it allows you to change them in the Personalize menu of the phone. Apart from shortcuts, you can also customize the screen with weather, photo gallery, favorite stocks and friend stream. Standard features on Sensation 4G include world roaming capabilities, built in Wi-Fi, speakerphone, GPS, conference calling, Bluetooth, voice dialing, multimedia and text messaging and video calling through Qik.

The HTC Sensation 4G is equipped with couple of additional applications and services such as Polaris Office, T-Mobile television, Lookout, a backup and security application, Slacker, TeleNav GPS Navigator and Peep Twitter client of HTC. Some of the unique features found in this model are dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz processor; Android (Gingerbread) Operating System; Internal Memory of 768 MB RAM, 4 GB Internal Storage; 4.3-inch touchscreen; 8 megapixel autofocus camera with Dual LED flash.
HTC Trophy is a well designed smartphone, which provides world roaming capabilities, compact design, user friendly interface and solid integration with Office and Zune. It isn’t the most sophisticated or powerful smartphone of Verizon, but those who don’t require all the whistles and bells, the Windows Phone provides superior integration of features and great ease of use in a sleek package. The Trophy is available for the price of $149.99 with two-year contract. It is pretty simple as compared to extra large screen of HTC HD7 and slide out speaker of HTC Surround. It measures 0.47 inch thick, 4.67 inches high, 2.42 inches wide and weighs 4.94 ounces, and is pretty simple sleek. The sleek profile feels solid in the hand and makes it easy to slip in the pants pocket.

The HTC Trophy’s soft touch finish and aluminium like bezel have nice touches, as is the red interior at the back of the battery door. It features a 3.8 inches that boasts 480 x 800-pixel resolution with bright and sharp looking text and images. The touchscreen is quite responsive and capacitive as it easily zooms in on pages, registers all the taps and efficiently scrolls through lists, using the pinch to zoom gesture. Some of the extensive and exclusive features found in this model are the built in accelerometer and proximity sensor. Despite the keyboard looking cramped and small, it is very easy and comfortable to use. It is almost on par with the keyboard of iPhone and is certainly better as compared to stock keyboard of Android.

Underneath the HTC Trophy’s screen, you will find touch sensitive buttons, including Search, Back and Start. The micro USB port and volume rocker button are located on the left hand side of the device, while the dedicated camera key on the right. On the top of Trophy, you will find a 3.5mm headphone jack and power button, while at the back, there is a speaker, camera and LED flash. The complete package consists of AC adapter, reference material, USB cable, wired stereo headphone and preinstalled SIM card. However, it is the first Windows Smartphone of Verizon, which provides user friendly interface, excellent Office support and Xbox and Zune Live integration.

Standard features on HTC Trophy include speakerphone, multimedia and text messaging, voice dialing, call waiting, call forwarding and conference calling. It also supports GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but doesn’t have any mobile hotshot capabilities. Apart from email and contact management, the Trophy can merge and handle data from plenty of email accounts such as IMAP and POP3 Accounts, Exchange and Windows Live. It also offers various applications such as image enhancer, unit converter and sound enhancer along with some of the favorite applications including weather widget and animated clock.

The HTC Trophy ships with Netflix and Slacker applications, which means that the subscribers of Netflix can watch movies and TV shows right on the smartphone. Standard features on Trophy include 1 GHz processor; Windows Phone OS 7; 8 GB of Internal phone storage; 5 megapixel color camera; Auto focus and flash; 720p HD video recording; built-in scenes such as landscape, portrait and candlelight; 3.5 mm stereo audio jack; G-Sensor; Digital compass; Proximity sensor; Ambient light sensor; Weather, Converter, Stocks, Sound Enhancer, Photo Enhancer.

Some of the additional features on HTC Trophy are Facebook and Windows Live; Super LCD capacitive touchscreen that boasts 16 million colors; Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement; 1 GHz Scorpion processor, Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset; Adreno 200 GPU; SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM messaging functions; MP3/AAC+/WAV/WMA9 player; MP4/WMV9 player; Organizer; Microsoft office document viewer/editor; Facebook integration; Voice memo/dial and Predictive text input.
